Classic artists tools as used by the specialist painters
Having worked in the Manchester area for the last 35 years as an illustrator and airbrush artist and also being married to an antique dealer the two professions came together when a friend asked me if I knew of anyone that could restore a long case clock dial for him.
That was a number of years and many many dials ago. I now find I enjoy the work greatly and with the introduction of my web site I am only too pleased to accept commissions from further afield. My approach to dial painting is to where ever I can retain as much of the original dial as possible, but as on some occasions when the dial is so badly damaged as to be beyond restoration a full repaint is the only solution. This is where my skills as an airbrush artist and retoucher come into play.

Thank you for visiting my web site, for further information and to discuss your requirements in more detail you can e-mail me at richard.reay@sky.com or ring me on 0161 633 0251
